...dreams tonight. might be connected with the fact that i haven't slpeet during the night. it's kinda fun when you drive home in the morning with all the working people in the morning knowing that you gonna fall into your bed at home and they have to go to their 8 hours a day jobs. call me an asshole but i was glad that I was in my position.

again...
I had strange dreams. I was swimming on the south pole. lost my backpack there. the water was warm and it felt like being on a tropical island.
maybe it was my bad conscience cause we're gonna drive shitloads of kilometers on tour polluting air and stufff. who knows.. who knows... I hope not.

the tour
starts this friday.
It's going to be epic.
I dreamed strange things tonight. I was in an rollercoaster without rails. my father joined me. the view was nice. but i though we gonna die. did not happen. cool.

duuuuuuuuude
ah. what the heck?
last post on 30 of july?
I can remember when I woke up at Flo's place hungover and wrote it. Thats ages ago and since at least 120 people sended me text messages or e mails regarding my blog and why I forgot about it I am BACK.
yes. August. No Entry in August. That's just the natural outcome of a month of crazy insanity! We played one or two shows and I've been on the road for another 2 or 3 days. The rest I was drinking Inca-Tea and to be honest I can't remember what I dreamed and what was real. I left my body for at least one week to travel astral-style. I have seen the human race and outer space. I left my fears in my body that remained like an empty shell in the shore of humanity. But I think that is too complicated to explain now. I think I'll write a book about it soon. I hope the great ESOTERISCHER VERLAG is going to publish it. I will let you know.
After this i shaved my long hippie-hair. I had this bitter taste on my tongue. I felt like my life would need a more down to earth direction. Since I believe that your direction in life is directly linconnected with your haircut I had to do it. I have now a real nice shaved skin head. I wanna skank on real good old ska music shows and shout out OI! OI! OI! frequently. My friends seem to like it and since then I haven't thought about the human race and all that world wide connected problems any more. Again my plans seemed to work out!

Geezers need excitement
yes. mike skinner rules. still. back then in 2002 he released a mile-stone. at least for my musical education. and now? woke up this morning with the feeling that this day has to bring glory and needs to be memorized. so whats to do then?
get up. search for original pirate material and get it on. one of the greatest sex jams influences. not musical, what you could call a pitty cause I think katie with some garage /jungle sounds would be much more dope than that post-whatever shit we're doing now. true story. nuff said. MORE BOUNCE, baby, BOUNCE!!!
but anyways we can't complain. we're going to play quite a lot of shows in august/sept/oct. got 2 now songs in the set. kicked some old ones out. yippy yeahhh.... kicking out the jams.
mh... and did we mention that bernhard fuchs is an extraordinary artist? no? ok. he is. he drew our 7" cover. it's so much fun to look at. and knowing that he had almost nothing on his paper last week makes him even more an extraterrestrial beeing. yeahhhhhhh.
ah and some news the band relating as well: we'll be a 5 piece after all the shows till end of oct. mister wolf the gang a.k.a mister ranzelPUNK will join on guitar and voice. he plays in Killed by 9V Batteries und Mile me deaf and maybe in some other bands as well. he is one of a great person and we're all happy. sounds hippie. ohh... we fucking are.
yeah after october we'll focus on writing the new album. more tropikal sounds. more good life snobbby tracks. cocktail partys. no more punk, baby. maybe some BOUNCE!!! like I said before. you believe? aaaaaayyyyyyyyye!!!

anyways. last weekend SIL Festival took place. it was nice. I think we also did a quite good job in acting like we'd have some kind of behaviour. nice one. in the morning katie looked like a porn star with big lips. i think she didn't recognize that they ain't bubble gum to chew on. mh.

lukas is in new york right now and should be back sometime soon. we haven't played since quite a while. but it seems like a little break is good for everyones mood. and in the end it's summer time. hanging out is FUN! it's like this one guy in a review once wrote:
"They seem like a raucous group of devil-may-care teenagers just out to have a good time, whether that means heavy binge drinking, or, probably less-frequently, playing music together."

rain, work, no time
yesterday i say a comment below one of our reviews that says: "Sind schon ganz ok. So gut wie ein Kopierer mit halbvollem Toner sein kann." That's a quite cool picture! I really like semi-functional stuff. but yeah I know it wasn't ment to positive. of course.
But that leads me to another point that I don't get! If there is a quite good Rock'n Roll band it's most of the time good cause the music is familiar to you. it's ROCK and fucking ROLL. So noone would ever complain "uhhhh they sound like the bands from the 60ies...". It would be the other way round. "Yeah doesn't that sound like "insert some band in here" . that's fucking ACE!"
Anyways what I wanna say is that I cant not understand those whiny kids complaining that something isn't the NEW musical imrovement! anyways maybe I am whiny now.. no delete that "maybe". It's clear that that sounds whiny now! haha... so what can you learn from that? in the end we're all a bunch of crackheads floating on on our islands.

the weekend is over
...and we came home with two new songs recorded.
a monday can be even more shitty after such a GREAT GREAT weekend! the songs sound rad and we're fucking happy with the outcome.
and let me tell you that mario and wolfgang in KILLED BY 9V BATTERIES are great great great people. It was such a pleasure to record there! I think someday we'll all play together in a NO-ROCK band.
Yes and Wolfgang is also on one of the two tracks. Singing some emotional junky jam! it's rad!

NEW STUFF
we made some pictures last week. pretending to play in nicklback (rudi), weezer (lukas), dog eat dog (flo). katie is just afraid of the freaks she's in a band with.
yes and this weekend we record two new songs for the 7". keep you updated.
and we bought a band-car. it's born in 1987. so it's older than katie is. and let me tell you it's BORN TO WIN!

Lieber rekeln wir uns in allerlei Komplexitäten, mühen uns an Begrifflichkeiten ab und versuchen, uns selbst die Welt zu erklären. Es ist wieder einmal an der Zeit, eine liebevolle Abreibung zu bekommen. Es ist Zeit für Sex Jams. So ziemlich seit der Gründung der Band im Sommer 2008 ist ihr pop-infizierter Post-Punk aus Wien im Gespräch. Mit dem Release des Debütalbums »Post Teenage Shine« haben Sex Jams die Prophe- zeiungen einiger weniger wahr gemacht und sind zu den Helden von einigen mehr geworden. Aus den gut geübten Handgelenken wird gänzlich unverblümt und angenehm schmutzig das herausgeschüttelt, was es einfach sein soll: klingender, lauter Spaß, der uns vom Leben erzählt. last week was busy. we played two greta shows her in vienna. one at the RHIZ and the other one at the PLANETARIUM. Second was the movie preview of PEPPERMINTA. We didn't see the movie cause we had to prepare ourselves with coloured sparkling wine and strawberries. nice that was.

ha! but let us tell you that the last show we played in graz with THE PHARAMCY and others like war-techs-rex was amazing. I think we hadn't had so much fun while playing since a long time. And yeah.. THE PHARMACY fucking rule! They are on big euro-tour now. so check them out if you have the possibility to!
